“Heartwarming” is the studio’s next project, which aims to build on what it has learned from its previous projects. This game is also a 2D action run-and-gun platformer. The story revolves around a bright young lynx and a grumpy old penguin who must work together to protect their habitat from the threats posed by rising temperatures. There is a particular focus on the temperature-based puzzles in the game. These include, for example, melting snow to create water and freezing water into ice to form walkable platforms.

As a working student programmer at Bonus Level Entertainment, I worked on the development of gameplay, systems, tools and the user interface. I owe a lot to my tech lead and mentor in particular, as I was able to benefit enormously from his experience and gain a lot of valuable insights.
